Engagys

That's what Ben likes to call them, I think it's a funny word, Engagys.

ENGAGEMENTS! We got them done yesterday! And I haven't seen them yet, but I can already tell you they'll be great because Erin is an amazing photographer and she is so fun to be around. She makes sure she gets what she wants too so you know your photo's will turn out wonderful.

Hopefully in a couple weeks we can see them all, get excited.

Look Who's Back

I'm home.
I can't believe the day actually came where I was no longer in a long distance relationship. With Ben and I it's been that way for 14 out of our 18 month relationship. It's the best feeling in the world knowing I don't have to cram everything into 3 days. I don't have to try and stay up late and get up early so I can see as much of Ben, friends and family before I have to go back down to St. George.

Both my parents and Benjamin came down over this last weekend to help me. My parents were there to take home a second car load of boxes for me (it took a total of 4 cars to get everything I owned back home). They helped me pack up all of the things I wouldn't need for my last weekend. I was so happy to have them down there one last time before I moved back home. I loved it so much everytime my family came down to see me over the last two years. Ben got there just in time to help me scrub down my apartment. He was such a doll. I am so incredibly thankful for that boy. He took work off just to come and help me. We spent all day Sunday cleaning and I didn't hear him complain once. He was constantly asking me what else he could do to help, and offering to do more if I wanted to take a break. Ben is in all honesty my better half, ask anyone that knows us, they will agree. By Tuesday morning, all we had to do was throw everything in our cars and head out. Funny story, Monday night I was going through my clothes while we were packing up, and I found some treasures. So this one time...I went to a Ke$ha concert, and dressed up. I found a part of that outfit and made Ben put it on. I about peed my pants.
We made sure to have lots of good times that last weekend too. We ate lots of good food, hit up Dixie rock, went swimming a couple times (Ben found a wad of one dollar bills at the bottom of the pool) and made sure to keep up our tradition of getting photo booth pictures everytime we go on a date.

Tuesday afternoon I had my last final to take. After the test I went back to the apartment, and just stood there, I didn't know what to do with myself. All that I owned in that apartment were the keys and phone I was holding in my hand. It felt so strange. I've moved back home before, but I knew I wasn't coming back this time. I knew the second I left, that was it.
The second I pulled up to my house after my last drive home I felt a rush of relief. I am going to miss St. George, and I'm really really going to miss Dixie. I absolutely love my college, some would say I have school spirit. I would be lying if I said I didn't cry when I drove past the school on my way to the freeway. I know I'll go back to St. George plenty in my life time, but it won't ever be the same, ya know? I like to put it in these terms; I'm sad to leave St. George, but I'm much more happy to be back home in Pleasant Grove. Happiness outweights the sadness =]
I don't know how many GREAT decisions i've made in my life, but going to Dixie State was one of them. I learned so much about life, myself and others. Now onto bigger and better things.

Now let's reminisce through pictures:
